Applications Class – All levels
This class is invaluable to everyone. Within the forms we teach you they all contain many self defence moves and techniques. This class breaks down the form in detail and shows you the applications for each move and stance.
Advanced Class
For students who have passed their grading exams. This level looks at building on the skills learned at the beginners stage. There is more focus on techniques, advanced forms, weapons and sanshou fighting skills.
Ba Ji Quan – All levels
‘The Eight Ultimate Fist’ form
This dynamic form was originally used by the bodyguards of the Emperors of China. Originating from Yeushan Temple it is rarely seen outside China. Shifu Heng Wei studied with the direct descendants of the creator of this form and is the only person in the UK teaching this. This form delivers many self defence techniques combined with speed and power.
Tai Chi
This softer style of martial art is excellent for those looking for a better understanding on how to keep their minds clear and focused. It releases tension in the body and improves balance, breathing, circulation and concentration. Tai Chi is known to have many health benefits and can be practised at any age and by people of all abilities.
Children’s Class
A great way for children to improve their fitness levels with the added bonus of helping to increase their concentration & co-ordination. The class allows each child to build their confidence and self esteem, teaches self control and encourages good behaviour. Classes are structured so that they learn Kung Fu but in a friendly fun environment.
Weapons & Acrobatics – All levels
For those that want to learn all that they see on stage and film we have regular weapons and acrobatics training. Students will be taught how to use a variety of weapons and combine these skills with the aerial techniques required.
Shaolin Training in Poland
4-12th August 2010
Wonderful opportunity to do some real Shaolin training without having to go to China.
Shifu Heng Wei has arranged a great venue set in the mountains of Poland, close to the Polish/Czech border. We will be staying in a lovely hotel close to the forests. In addition to some serious training, students will have the opportunity to do some sightseeing and close by there is horse riding and quad bikes should you fancy giving that a go! Places are limited so booking early is advised. Cost for the trip is £500 and this includes, flights, transfers (Poland), food and of course training. We are booking flights this week (4th May) as the prices are good. However please note that there may be an increase in the price if you do not reserve a place now as the costs of the flights are likely to rise the longer we leave it. For students who wish to book their own flights then the cost of the trip will be £430.
